Congratulations to the Tipperary u14 Hurlers who won the Tony Forrestal Division 1 Tournament today at Dr. Walsh Park beating a strong Cork team by 5 points. St. Patricks was represented by Conor Clancy who had a great game in mid field for Tipperary. Unfortunately the B team were beaten by a very strong Cork team in the Division 2 Final. Cathal Mahoney played wing forward for Tipperary in this game. Well done lads
Its an important weekend for the club as both Junior A and B hurlers are out in respective quarter finals on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The A’s play near neighbours Mullinahone on Saturday evening in Monroe at 7pm. There are no injury concerns so everybody is looking forward to it.
The B’s play on Sunday in Fethard at 12:30 against Marlfield. Some injury concerns for them but they are hoping that majority of the squad will be available.

Kilsheelin 1-12 St. Patricks 0-06
Last weekend St. Pats were on the end of a heavy defeat to Kilsheelin in the group stages of the South Junior A hurling championship. From all accounts, as this scribe was not in attendance, it was a very poor display from the Drangan and Cloneen side and the scoreline supports that opinion. St. Pats missed a number of frees and Kilsheelin were well worth their win.
St. Pats next outing is this weekend coming against Ballingarry.
Team: J.Moroney, R. Needham, C.Dunne, D.Meagher, J.Hayes, C.Barry, E.McCormack(Capt), S.Gorey, P. Moroney, N. Gleeson, L.Brett, D.Molloy, D.Barry, T.O’Brien, N.Kearney.
Killenaule 0-04 St. Patricks 11-16
In contrast to the A hurlers, the St. Pats Junior B hurlers had an emphatic win over Killenaule in their first round, played on the previous Wednesday night in Fethard. Unfortunately Killenaule were well off the pace and the game as a whole was very poor.
