St. Pats Championship Status
Its late July and thankfully St. Pats are still involved in multiple championships. A brief summary below;
The Junior A hurlers have one loss so far, to Ballingarry. They picked up wins over Carrick Swan and Clonmel Og. So they are reasonably well positioned to qualify for the knockout stages.
The Junior A footballers had a win over Cahir and a draw with Fethard with no defeat thus far. Some more matches needed here before things become clear.
The Junior B hurlers have suffered one loss, to Ballalooby-Castlegrace. They had wins over Marlfield, Skeheen, and Mullinahone. Looks as if they are through to the knockout stages.
The Junior B footballers had major difficullty with numbers. They played two games and have withdrawn from the competition.
The U21 hurlers are still involved having palyed one and won one and are awaiting their next fixture.
The U21 footballers were knocked out early in the year.
The minor hurlers were beaten by Carrick Swan last Saturday evening, which from this authors understanding puts them out of the competition. The Minor footballers were knocked out earlier on.
The next number of weeks will be key for a lot of the teams, it will determine if they qualify for South Q/Fs or S/Fs in the different competitions. Here hoping qualification for a number of our teams.
