For all Tipperary people their 26th senior hurling title will always be one that will live in memory for a number of reasons. The primary reason being the way Tipp hurled in the final, they really stepped up to the plate in every sense. Every thing that was asked of them, they answered with an eagerness which was enriching. Cahir plays host to this years South Junior A semi finals this Saturday, kicking off with Newcastle Vs Ballylooby at 4:00pm and St. Pats Vs Kilsheelin at 5:30pm. It should be an interesting evenings hurling.

Kilsheelin defeated our lads in the last game of the group stages so there should be very little between the teams on this occasion. St. Pats are coming into the game with some injuries and also have lost individuals due to emigration. The recession is taking its toll in all walks of life unfortunately. But in saying that St.Pats players and management are looking forward to the game, its a championship which they would dearly love to win!
