Under 14 Interdivisional Hurling
Best wishes to Aidan Fitzgerald, Luke Fox and the South Tipperary under 14 hurlers when they play North Tipperary on this Saturday 25th March. Unfortunately the West and Mid teams proved too strong for Luke and Aidan and their South Tipperary colleagues last Saturday.

Under 12 Football
Our U.12B footballers defeated Clonmel Commercials by 7-11 to 0-1 on Thursday 16th March in the Poppyfields, Clonmel. The team was: Oran Gahan, Conor Brett, Joe Traynor, Seán Nash, Finn Madigan, Robbie Noonan, Danny Broderick, Pat Moroney, Evan Holohan, William Cleere, Dylan Meagher. Due to an injury sustained in an under 14 game Daithi Hogan did not line out.

Our Under 12 D footballers were defeated by Fethard on Sunday last in Fethard GAA Park when the score read 3-7 to 0-1 although most observers felt that the score did not accurately reflect St. Patricks influence on the game. The team was: Diesel Outram, John Carroll, Cathal Keane, Tom Ryan, Seán Fitzgerald, Cormac Duggan, Charlie Noonan, Shane Horan, Keelan Strappe, Eoin Morrissey.

On Sunday week last our under 14 footballers defeated Ballingarry by 4-0 to 3-2 in Anner Park Cloneen. The team was: Danny Broderick, Bill Cuddihy, Luke Fox, James Ryan, Eoin Fitzgerald, Jack Cleere, Robbie Noonan, Cian Crannitch, Aidan Fitzgerald, Cathal Foley, Brian O’Halloran, Jamie Brett, James Hogan, Ryan Crannitch, William Cleere, Daithi Hogan.

County Football League Our Junior Footballers played their first game of the year last Sunday against Ballylooby/Castlegrace in Ballylooby. Unfortunately we came up just short in the end and lost on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-07. Our Junior Hurlers play their second game of the County League this Sunday in Cloneen at 12.00 when the opposition will be Thurles Sarsfields
Minor Football Championship

On Friday 17th March our minor footballers played their first game of 2017 in Davin Park Carrick on Suir against Kilsheelan-Kilcash. This was a victory for Anner Gaels by 2-9 to 1-7. The team was: Ryan Walsh, Harry Butler, Michael Boland, Stephen Crotty, Conor Harrington, Conor Duggan, Eoin Ryan, Jack Dolan, Barry O’Dwyer, Frank Meagher, Ross McCormack, Liam Quigley, Dale Murphy, Jamie Broderick, Jesse McCormack. Seán Ryan, Niall Mockler, James Fitzgerald, Pauric O’Brien.

Under 21 Football Championship . Clonmel Commercials were victorious over Moyle Rovers in last Saturday’s game which eliminates Anner Gaels and puts Clonmel Commercial in the South Final against Moyle Rovers. We thank all our players for the effort they put in and the smile they brought to supporters faces when they defeated Clonmel Commercials on a very cold day in Monroe. Well done to all.
St. Patricks Fun Run/Walk

St Patricks GAA Club held a very successful Fun Run/Walk St Patricks Day. It started at Drangan Community Centre and finished at the Clubhouse in Cloneen where refreshments were provided to all the participants. We thank Sam Richardson for the hard work he put into organising this event which looks like becoming an Annual Event in our calendar.
GAA Membership Fees

GAA Membership Fees are now due and should be paid to Club Registrar Micheál Broderick, Treasurer Colm Duggan, Assistant Treasurer Eamon Murphy or Secretary Catherine Mockler. Adult fee is €50 with a reduction to €25 for under 18s, Students or Senior Citizens. All membership fees must be paid before Friday 31st March.All membership fees must be paid before Friday 31st March to be eligible to vote in the AGM at the end of the year and also to be in the draw for All Ireland tickets.Those who have paid their membership can also avail of the GAA’s new membership rewards programme “GRMA”.
Club Players Association
