Bereavement

We extend the sympathy of St. Patricks GAA Club to the Noonan Family Crohane on

the death in Draperstown Co. Derry of Jimmy Noonan. The Noonan family have a long history of involvement in the GAA in Drangan and Cloneen which goes back to the early years of the GAA. Many will recall 1991 when Jimmy brought World Boxing Champion Barry McGuigan to Drangan and Cloneen when Barry threw in the ball for a novelty football match at Anner Park Cloneen. When St. Patricks under 14 hurlers played in Feile na Gael in Omagh two years ago Jimmy travelled down from Derry to support     St. Patricks as they defeated local team Omagh. In sporting circles Jimmy was well known as a very capable boxing referee and administrator. May he rest in peace.
