Tom Keane RIP
It is with great regret that we announce the death of THOMAS (TOM) KEANE.
Tom was one of the finest footballers to ever wear the club Jersey. Tom played minor and senior football for Annervale Rovers in 1942 reaching the South Finals in both competitions.
Tom helped St. Patricks to both South and County Senior Football titles in both 1947 and 1953. He lined out for the Tipp junior and senior footballers for many years and also played for Munster in the Railway Cup from 1949 to 1952 winning an inter provincial railway cup medal in 1949.
In 2000 Tom was honoured with the South Tipperary Footballer of the past award and in 2004 he was awarded a County Tipperary Sean Gael Award.
I would ask anybody who is available on Monday please assemble in Cloneen at 12.00 to form Guard of Honour.

Predeceased by his wife Maryanne and twin children Eleanor and Joseph. Deeply and deservedly regretted by his sons Johnjoe, Eamon, Tommy, Michael and Cyril, his daughters Catherine and Mary, his sisters Mary and Margaret,sisters in law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in McCarthy’s Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26th, from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.Funeral Mass in the Augustinian Abbey Church on Monday at 11am, followed by burial in Cloneen Cemetery.
