The team on the night was: Richie Needham, Shane Gorey, Colm Dunne, Barry O’Dwyer, Ciaran Mockler, Paddy Moroney, Eoin Ryan, Mark Mullally, Conor Duggan, Aidan Buckley, Joey Noonan, Darren Boland, Robbie Meagher Tony O’Brien,Michael Boland, Conor Clancy, Willie O’Brien, Declan Morrissey, Cameron Moynihan,Sean Ryan,
Junior A Hurling
Our Junior A Hurlers were next up when they played Ballingarry last Saturday evening in Fethard. Nothing only a 6 point win or better would do us to get to the knockout stage of the Championship. Things were not looking good for us when we went 5 points down half way through the first half. However a goal from Joey Noonan helped us to get back level at half time 1-7 each. It was point for point for the first 15 minutes of the second half until a second goal from Joey Noonan gave us a lead which we would not relinquish. Further points gave us the 6 point lead we needed. We endured a nervy end to the game but we managed to hold on and get the win we needed. We have now qualified for the knockout stage of the championship. No fixture has been made yet. The team on the night was : Willie O’Brien, Conor Gorey, Eoin Ryan, Paddy Moroney, Ciaran Mockler, Mark Mullally, Nicky Kearney, Colm Dunne, Richie Needham, Aidan Buckley, Conor Duggan, Robbie Meagher, Shane Gorey, Tony O’Brien, Joey Noonan, Conor Clancy, Jamie Broderick, Darren Boland.

We extend sympathy to Mrs Joan O’Halloran on the recent death of her brother Rev. Fr. Noel Hanrahan. A native of Grangemockler Fr. Noel was a regular visitor to Drangan over the years and was well known to many parishioners. May he Rest in Peace.
