Under 16 Hurling
On Monday week last our under 16 hurlers drew with Ballingarry in the South Tipperary Final played in Kilsheelan. Our boys had staged a great comeback and almost snatched victory. Due to the fading light it was not possible to play extra time so the replay was in Killenaule on Saturday last. Unfortunately our boys never reached the standard of the drawn game and Ballingarry were victorious by 3-15 to 2-5 retaining the South Tipperary
Under 16 B Hurling title which they had won in 2018 with a victory over Mullinahone
The team was: Danny Broderick, Eoin Fitzgerald, Ryan Crannitch, Pat Moroney, Evan White, Aidan Fitzgerald, Jack Cleere, Cian Crannitch, Bill Cuddihy, Cathal Foley, James Ryan, Jamie Brett, Daithi Hogan, Luke Fox, Kyle Colville, Brian O’ Halloran, Robbie Noonan, William Cleere.
We thank the players and their families for the great commitment to training they showed during the year which brought them to a South Football semi final and a South Hurling final. Thanks to team manager Liam Fitzgerald and his selectors Patrick Moroney, Nigel Cleere and Chris Foley.
