Bereavement We extend the sympathy of St. Patricks GAA club to the O’Shea Family Cloran Cloneen on the recent death of Tom O’Shea. Tom was a prominent footballer with St. Patricks in his younger days playing senior in 1969. Tom was at corner back when St. Patricks won the South Tipperary League in 1972 and again in 1973 when St. Patricks reached the final. The late Toms brother Robert (Bob) was also a member of those teams. On arrival at The Church of The Nativity in Cloneen Tom’s coffin was draped with the Black and Amber flag of St. Patricks GAA Club. Among the gifts brought to the altar by his nieces Joan and Stephanie was a fishing rod recalling the many happy days Tom spent fishing in the local river Anner and an O’Neils football recalling Toms many succeses on the football field of Anner Park Cloneen and several other pitches in South Tipperary. May the soul of Tom O Shea Rest In Peace.
