Bereavements We extend the sympathy of St. Patricks GAA Club to Teresa Bourke and family Cloran on the recent death of John RIP. John was a prominent footballer with St. Patricks in the 1950s and 1960s winning South finals in 1963 and 1967 and a Co. Final in 1967. Johns sons P.J., Percy and Tom and daughters Breda, Katie and Tess all played with St. Patricks and the next generation is already wearing the St. Patricks Jersey. When John’s funeral arrived in Cloneen it was met by a guard of honour of his colloeagues from those teams and many other past and present players. May he rst in peace. We also extend sympathy to the Ryan family Cloran and the Carroll Family Burncourt on the death of Mrs. Mary Ryan. Mary’s husband Philly was one of our top footballers in the 1940s and 1950s winning South and Co. Senior Football Finals in 1947 at mid field and in 1953 at full forward when he also captained the team. Phillys brother Mick was also a member of both teams. May she rest in peace.
