Under 14 Hurling
On Thursday last our under 14 hurlers played their first game of the season against Kilsheelan-Kilcash in Anner Park Cloneen. After a close game our boys were unfortunate to be 3 points behind when the score was Kilsheelan-Kilcash 3-7 to 1-10 for St. Patricks. The team was: Cormack Duggan, Joey Fitzgerald, Evan Holohan, Cathal Keane, Hayden Fleming, Conor Brett, Eoin Morrissey, Seán Nash, Finn Madigan, John Carroll, Charlie Noonan, Tom Ryan, Seán Fitzgerald, Oran Gahan, Diesel Outram, Tom Lee, Mike O’Dwyer, Keelan Strappe, Dane Outram.
Under 12 Hurling
On Sunday last our under 12 hurlers played their second game of the season at Anner Park Cloneen. Unfortunatel Killenaule were too strong. The margin would have been even greater but for some excellent defending by the St. Patrick goalie and defence. St. Patricks team was: Bobby Purcell, Nathan Gleeson, Eoin Horan, Donncha Foley, Jack O’ Donnell, Tiernan O’ Brien, Dane Outram, Conor Danagher, Daniel Holden, Daniel Carroll, Donal Keane.
Minor Hurling
Our Minor hurlers were out in their second game of the Championship last Wednesday when they took on Grangemockler in Mullinahone. Things didn’t go our way on the night and we lost on a scoreline of 1-20 to 2-5. The team on the night was: Danny Broderick, Eoin Fitzgerald, Ryan Crannitch, Keith Morrissey, Luke Fox, Aidan Fitzgerald, Jack Cuddihy, James Ryan, Cian Crannitch, Cathal Foley, Jack Cleere, Jamie Brett, Daithi Hogan, Tommy O’Brien, Robbie Noonan, Brian O’Halloran, James Lawless, Pat Moroney.
Next up for our Minor Hurlers are Killenaule this Wednesday 29th July in Ballingarry at 7:30.
Junior Hurling
Our Junior A Hurlers began their Championship last Saturday in Ned Hall Park Clonmel where Ballylooby were our opponents. In a tight game we eventually came out on top after a strong finish on a scoreline of 2-14 to 2-9. The team on the night was: Marcus O Halloran, Patrick Moroney, Eoin Ryan, Conor Gorey, Barry O’Dwyer, Nicky Kearney, Shane Gorey, Richie Needham, Paraic O’Brien, Jamie Broderick, Gavin Strappe, Conor Clancy, Tommy O’Brien, Tony O Brien, Aaron Cronin, Angus McDonald, Ciaran Mockler, Eamon Needham, Colm Dunne, James Fitzgerald, Darren Boland, Cameron Moynihan, Michael Boland, Mikey O Brien, Sean Ryan.

St. Patricks GAA Lotto
Congratulations to Kathleen Horan of Newtown on winning the jackpot of €17,000 in the St. Patricks GAA Lotto on Tuesday of last week. Kathleen is of course a former treasurer of both St. Patricks Juvenile and Senior GAA Clubs and continues to serve as a promoter for the Co. Tipperary GAA draw. Next draw for a Jackpot of €1,000 will be held on Tuesday August 4. To ensure social distancing the draw will be held in Drangan Community Hall. –
