Junior A Football
Last Saturday our Junior A Footballers were in action when they took on Ardfinnan in the South Semi Final. We were hoping to reach our first final since 2014. Ardfinnan got off to a good start when they went 2 points up however we soon found our rhythm and a goal from Cathal Mahoney helped us to a 1-10 to 0-4 half time lead. We pulled away further in the second half and ended up winning on a scoreline of 1-20 to 1-7. We will now play Carrick Swan in the South Final this weekend. Look out for fixture details on our social pages in the coming days. We hope to see a big crowd in attendance as we aim to win the South title for the first time since 2005. The team on the day was: Marcus O’ Halloran, Barry O’Dwyer, Patrick Moroney, Colm Dunne, Keith Morrissey, Ciaran Mockler, Pauric O’Brien, Conor Duggan, Eoin Ryan, Aidan Buckley, Joey Noonan, Aidan Fitzgerald, Matt McCormack, Cathal Mahoney, Jamie Broderick, Darren Boland, Michael Boland, Cian Crannitch, Ryan Crannitch, Nicky Kearney, Tony O Brien, Cathal Foley, Sean Ryan, Jamie Brett, Mikey O Brien, Cameron Moynihan.
