South Junior Championship gets underway

St. Patricks Juniors get the championship year underway this coming Saturday, May 23rd. Football first and exactly where they left off last year against regining South champions Fethard. The venue is Ballingarry. There are no real challenges matchs to base their form on so lets wait and see and hope for a good display on Saturday evening.

On the hurling front, their intermediate league Q/F against Moyne Templetouhy was canceled due to Gortnahoe field being unplayable.  They were supposed to hurl Moyle Rovers in the championship this coming weekend but the football has taken precedence. But more than likely the hurling will commence the weekend after next. A number of challenges were played recently with varied form.  A win, draw and loss against Carrick Davins, St. Marys, and St. Mollerans(Carrick) respectively.
